Whitewood beads come from the wild mamalis (pangantuon) trees growing in the Philippines. The natural unbleached wood is tan to pale yellow, or off white in color. You may find some color variation along the strand, or occasional gray areas. The beads are wax polished by hand for a smooth finish. A perfect neutral to combine with other natural materials.
